GEORGE J. GERHARDT
Bridgewater - George J. Gerhardt, 76, a retired farmer, died Tuesday in his home after a heart attack. ( May 16,1961) He was born in the town of Brookfield, N.Y., son of Agustus and Rose Gerhardt. He attended schools at Beaver Creek and Brookfield. With his wife the former Emmaline Miller, he operated various farms in this area. He retired in 1956 and moved here. He was a member of the Brookfield Episcorpal Church. Besides his wife he leaves a son, Lawrence of Sauquoit Rd., and a brother, Norman of Waterville. The funeral will be at 2 tomorrow from the Wilcox Funeral Home, West Winfield with the Rev. Carl H.Yettru, Congregational minister, officiating. Burial will be in Brookfield Rural Cemetery.
